IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm here again, and I have a new poem I wrote. Before we get started with that I have to let you know that Christmas is my favorite time of year.  All the decorations, songs, and especially the giving to others puts me in a fantastic mood that lasts until New Year's.  Then my renewed faith in humanity is lost.

Ornament

Smashed

Hidden under others

Pushed back

Ground smaller with time

Once a happy scene

Now dust

Forgotten

Waiting for a chance

You reach

But it bites

And is found again

Begin Again

Begin Again

Here I go again
Like a million times before
My eyes find yours
I can't help but smile
My heart races
Cheeks flush
It happened before
It didn't end well
I know the risks
I'll take the chance
Because today in the hallway
Love began again

My Poetry

My Best Friend

There on my dresser is a picture
Of happier, simpler times
In the middle are she and I
The one who taught me bravery
And truly loving yourself
She always loved others
No matter how cruel
Even though they tried and tried
They could never break her
Every morning I look at us
Touch my necklace and smile
Because I know that miles away
She does the very same

My Poetry

Well, I got another poem for you! Before we get there I have a bit of backround first.  Prom is comming up in a few weeks.  After asking a boy from where I used to live, I decided to ask this cute boy in my spanish class.  I was too much of a chicken to ask in person, so I wrote him a note.

The Note

On top of your books
is a simple note
just something quick I wrote

A simple message,
 but a complicated theme
"Will you go to prom
with me?"

Circle one and
make my day
Circle another
I'll find a new way

I have a ticket
and I have a dress
all I need for prom
is a yes

My Poetry

Before I moved in my Freshman year, I lived in a house on the edge of town.  Across the street from it, there was a gully.  This is its story:

Life Lessons

In that gully, I learned
how to drive a go-kart
and turn really sharp,
how to talk with friends
and matters of the heart.

In that gully, I learned
how to start a fire
and find certain stars,
the best way to dance
on the hood of cars.

In that gully, I learned
how hard it is to say goodbuy
to the one that leaves you behind
how to hold the tears you want to cry
and hold that smile on your face

In that gully, I learned
how to live life
and how to go crazy and just be me

My Poetry

Well, look at me go! Two posts in two days!

It's Just Me, the Music, and the Ice

it's just me, the music, and the ice
the judges watching
my coach praying
are completly lost
just the flow of music
it fills me up
going through the steps
a million times before
just one more jump
the pull of ice
the moment of air
the land
flawless

My Poetry

Hey Everybody! We started a poetry unit in English, so I will have a lot more time to write.  Now the only problem is the internet at my house is not working, but we are writing stories for Psycology, and that doesn't need internet so I'll do that at home.
I Need a Place

I need to find a place
where I can be myself
and stay true to how I feel

I need to find a place
where my past cannot be seen
and I can make my own story

I need to find a place
where I won't be looked at strangely
and I can go a little crazy
I need to find a place
where I belong

My Poetry

Well, I don't really have an excuse, but I'm sorry I haven't posted in a long time.  I have a lot of stuff written , and now I just have to upload it.

Anyway

I knew it,
but I fell anyway.
My heart didn't listen;
it went its own way.

You were a player;
I knew it from the start.
I let down my walls,
and you smashed them apart.

My heart wasn't s'posed to melt
when you said my name.
I wasn't s'posed to fall for you,
but I did anyway.
