My Poetry

Well, I got another poem for you! Before we get there I have a bit of backround first.  Prom is comming up in a few weeks.  After asking a boy from where I used to live, I decided to ask this cute boy in my spanish class.  I was too much of a chicken to ask in person, so I wrote him a note.

The Note

On top of your books
is a simple note
just something quick I wrote

A simple message,
 but a complicated theme
"Will you go to prom
with me?"

Circle one and
make my day
Circle another
I'll find a new way

I have a ticket
and I have a dress
all I need for prom
is a yes

My Poetry

Before I moved in my Freshman year, I lived in a house on the edge of town.  Across the street from it, there was a gully.  This is its story:

Life Lessons

In that gully, I learned
how to drive a go-kart
and turn really sharp,
how to talk with friends
and matters of the heart.

In that gully, I learned
how to start a fire
and find certain stars,
the best way to dance
on the hood of cars.

In that gully, I learned
how hard it is to say goodbuy
to the one that leaves you behind
how to hold the tears you want to cry
and hold that smile on your face

In that gully, I learned
how to live life
and how to go crazy and just be me

My Poetry

Well, look at me go! Two posts in two days!

It's Just Me, the Music, and the Ice

it's just me, the music, and the ice
the judges watching
my coach praying
are completly lost
just the flow of music
it fills me up
going through the steps
a million times before
just one more jump
the pull of ice
the moment of air
the land
flawless

My Poetry

Hey Everybody! We started a poetry unit in English, so I will have a lot more time to write.  Now the only problem is the internet at my house is not working, but we are writing stories for Psycology, and that doesn't need internet so I'll do that at home.
I Need a Place

I need to find a place
where I can be myself
and stay true to how I feel

I need to find a place
where my past cannot be seen
and I can make my own story

I need to find a place
where I won't be looked at strangely
and I can go a little crazy
I need to find a place
where I belong
